FF&E Curation

Specification · Curation · Supplier Direction

Curation of FF&E, Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment, ensuring coherence between concept, aesthetics, function, operation and the positioning of the hotel product.

The engagement covers selection, specification and supplier recommendations, with no direct responsibility for purchasing, commercial negotiation, contracting, payments, logistics or receipt of goods.

Scope of the curation

  • Research and selection of references and suppliers
  • Specification of the items defined in the project
  • Alternatives compatible with the concept and the budget

Not included in this scope: purchasing, commercial negotiation, contracting of suppliers, issuing of orders, financial follow-up, logistics, transport, storage, receipt or delivery control.

Hotel Implementation

Prototype Room · OS&E · Installation · Styling · Pre-Opening

Following the transition from project to operation, ensuring coherence between concept, guest experience and the implementation of the hotel product.

Prototype room

  • Installation and validation of the model room
  • Assessment of furniture, lighting, linen, amenities and equipment
  • Analysis of function and guest experience
  • Recommendations for rollout across the remaining keys

OS&E

  • Curation and specification of the main operating items
  • Direction for guest rooms, housekeeping, reception, F&B and public areas

OS&E curation, Operating Supplies & Equipment, may cover selection, specification, definition of quantities and supplier recommendations. Purchasing, commercial negotiation, contracting, payments, transport, storage, logistics and receipt may remain with the client or with the hotel operating team.

Installation and styling

  • Following the installation of every area
  • Validation of the FF&E as installed
  • Final dressing and styling
  • Review of the product before opening

Pre-opening

  • Consultancy on preparing the guest rooms and hospitality areas
  • Direction on presentation and experience standards
  • Interface with Housekeeping, Reception, Reservations and F&B to align concept with operation
  • Final review of the experience before opening

The engagement is advisory and directs implementation. It does not cover team management, hiring of staff or direct execution of the hotel operation.
